Renee Platt is the name behind Platinum Body Personal Training, and her purpose is to inspire busy women to challenge the way they feel about health, fitness, and their bodies. Renee spent most of her adult life serving in the Australian Regular Army, until becoming a stay-at-home-mum in order to spend time growing and learning with her young children. Her passion for health and fitness meant that when this stage of her life was over it seemed only natural to strive towards becoming a qualified Personal Trainer.
Uninspired by the range of group training available at gyms and bootcamps in her local area, she took matters into her own hands and with her new qualifications started training women in the only space she had at the time- her garage. Her unique, personal workouts quickly gained a following, and with the phone ringing off the hook because so many other women wanted to join in, she knew it was time for a bigger space. Fast forward 3 years, and Renee has created a sisterhood of support in the form of her Girl Gang, as she conducts classes seven days a week at three separate venues.
Today she trains hundreds of women each week, helping them thrive during the most important time of their lives; right now!
Not wanting to let down those around the world that aren’t able to make it to her classes in person, Renee has curated the 8 Week Body Back Program: a downloadable eBook for time poor women so that they can work out in her distinctive way at home. Hundreds of women have loved and trusted Renee’s process, and have seen incredible results both physically and in terms of their mindset.

Renee blends her love of fitness with being a busy mother to Joshua, 13; Amelie, 10; and Hamish, 7. It is through living a busy life herself that she has truly realised the value of making time to stay active and eat clean (specially to set an example for her children), and is thrilled to be able to teach other women that it’s not selfish to take good care of yourself: it’s necessary.

I know how time poor we all are in today’s day and age, but that justification often leads to poor health, and worse; poor self-esteem. I love helping women lose weight and gain energy even when they’re busy with children, and life, and are looking after themselves on a shoe-string budget- and that’s just what I have managed to do. Renee’s career highlights so far include the 2015 release of #BodyBack Clean Eating Guidelines in January, and her second eBook: 8 Week Bodyback Program, in December. Renee was awarded the Prince of Wales Award in May for her Army Reserve Service, which saw her travel to the Fitness Business Summit in California. In 2016 she was a finalist for both the AusMumpreneur ‘Making A Difference Business’ award and the ‘Emerging AusMumpreneur Of The Year’ Award. She was featured in Women’s Fitness in April, and on Move Nourish Believe in August.
In the last twelve months Renee has continued to shine. During 2017 she found herself as a finalist in the Top 10 for the AusMumpreneur ‘Making A Difference Business’, for the second year running. She was also thrilled to be invited to speak on Chanel 9 News, an interview that covered all things women’s health and fitness.
